International IPA Day

IPA. Its very mention can inspire visions of acres of hop fields.  August 4th marks the first annual International IPA day. On Thursday August 4th, craft beer drinkers across the globe will raise a pint in a collective toast to one of craft beer’s most beloved styles: the India Pale Ale.

Ft. Collins, CO (July 7, 2011) - New Belgium Brewing is pleased to announce it is breaking ground on a 16,000 sq. foot can line addition to its bottling hall. The new system, manufactured by KHS, will increase New Belgium’s canning volume capacity six fold.

Lithia Beer is Back!

You can’t keep a good beer down.  At least, that’s what Lithia beer is saying. Ever since Lithia Beer was first brewed in West Bend, it shared a rich heritage with the city, Washington County and Wisconsin. West Bend Brewing Co. was established in 1848, the same year that Wisconsin became a state. When the doors closed in 1968, after a 120 year brewing tradition, the local beer was lost, but not forgotten.
